We are in the middle of a move so there is little time to share anything but it is Christmas time which invites lots of great moments.
Last night Thing1 received a Christmas card from his Grandma Ally. As he opened it up a $5 bill fell out and he exclaimed "cash!" When we asked what he would spend it on he told us, "a new mommy and a new daddy," but refused to elaborate on the whys and hows. He then pointed at Honest Abe and asked, "is that Grampy Bob?"

This seems to be Keanu's first real Christmas where he's aware of what's coming and anticipating the family visits and exchange of gifts. He also apparently thinks that I'm unaware of this thing called Christmas and that it's all going to be a surprise for me. He's very excited but keeps accidentally telling me about it. "Dad! It's a surprise for you but it's going to be Christmas!"; "Dad, You gonna be so surprised when you might maybe see the Christmas tree."; "Uncle Dylan and Uncle John are going to come over for Christmas, Did you know that Dad?" ; "Dad, Don't tell Mommy but we are really getting a Dog for Christmas."
