After waiting weeks and weeks to get internet set up at the new house then waiting even longer to get our devirusified laptop back from the computer doc I'm finally able to post some pics from Grandpa Walt and Grandma Gloria's visit back in November. I've also been unable to share Small's adorable first Christmas, beginning crawling, and standing pictures :( Now if only I could find my camera's memory card...

He big move is over (aren't they all big?), we've finally got internet (6 weeks later), and now the computer is in the shop getting devirusified so while I have a bazillion pictures to share from various family visits, Christmas, and the new puppy (!!!), I'm limited to texty little blog posts. Luckily Thing one just did something totally blog-worthy.

So the kid is eating dinner while I'm putting together this stupid cheapo particleboard desk I decided to purchase in an insane moment of thriftiness. Two mintues ago he was in timeout for saying damnit. I get hungry so I go bust out some hummus and he says "I thought you were putting together the damn."

Without thinking I respond "Don't say damn!" Wait... "What's a damn?"

"A damn is when you're fixing things."

He's got that right.
