We are in Hilo for the weekend for Uncle John's college graduation. At home they have bunk beds so the big boys are taking the opportunity to jump on the hotel room bed. All of a sudden Medium stops and grabs his leg then makes an OUCH face. Large and I look at him, alarmed, but Medium only sits down and leans over to kiss his own leg. To make it better.

  3. I think he got bit by a spider. It swelled up and turned red like a giant mosquito bite. Then it turned into a rash but it doesn't seem to be bothering him so I'm not too concerned.

  5. I know that was rhetorical but it got me thinking. Other than the fact that he is exposed to kid germs on shopping carts and playgrounds and he is 2 so he touches everything. I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with moving to such a drastically different environment. I have no doubt that his immune system is exposed to things here that aren't found in Phoenix. On the other hand, children with peanut allergies are often allergic to multiple things so it's possible that he has more allergies than just the ones we know of and his immune system is busy fighting off those so other things slip in the back door. Just think of all of the pollen or if he is allergic to mold it would be impossible to away from here plus the vog is supposed to exacerbate things.

  6. I guess you'll have to keep him in a bubble. That's what I would have done.
